My understanding is that since insurance is all BC Medical, you don't need a lot of people to deal with it. Small practices run with less overhead.

That said, I have supplemental coverage through Blue Cross. So other insurance can be involved.

For what it's worth I mostly agreed

I wasn't planning to down vote until the shitty attitude in the last paragraph. Fuck you, too.

You'll get a lot more exposure to radio waves from your average star than from Earth at a distance. Earth shines brightly in that spectrum but not enough to outshine a star.

There's only one kind of photon radiation. It just varies in frequency and strength from radio to gamma.

If an alien can't survive Earth's radio emissions they wouldn't have made it to Earth in the first place.

I guess. Why do I want to go faster?

Are you gaslighting me

I fully expected there to be a safe somewhere full of blackmail dossiers. Though I'm sure that has been put to the torch by now, if it ever existed. The best we can do now is compile lists from secondary sources.

The kind you pump air into? Less nobbly than mountain bike tires, not as thin as road bike tires. The type of tire is the bike shop's problem.

Tires are a big issue right now. 6PPD-Q might be an extinction event for salmon.

If anyone's interested, I've created a !sfu@lemmy.ca.

Someday, we may have one-sided meme wars!

edit: I just read the sidebar note about contacting the mod team first about advertising. Apologies! Please remove this post with my enthusiastic blessing if you think that this isn't sufficiently relevant to the UBC community.
