Most news is filler content that has no impact on your life. Hearing about a tragedy 1000km away of people you did not know existed before the story and will be forgotten next month proves the story always was irrelevant.

Tangible news generally, but not always, has a way of getting through all of the noise. If you want a healthy perspective, then mix in sources that go against your views and against your beliefs. People get messed up only listening to leftist sources and never anything on the right, and people get messed up only listen to ones on the right and never any left sources. Listening to how the other side of political views discuss something to prevent falling into invincible ignorance or unfalsifiable fallacy.

Those 35,000 people out of work are Jordan's problem and Jordan can help them, not America. Eliminate all American spending in foreign countries on all people who are not American citizens holding American passports. Permanent residents do not qualify.

If 9070 XT raytracing on ultra at 1440p without FSR comes close to 5070 Ti for $750, they should price it at $450 if they want to exclude nVidia from all considerations and conversations. If rasterization is 5080 level but raytracting is 5070 performance, they have to undercut 5070 since raytracing and path tracing is the future.

Radeon can't sell by only making them $100 cheaper because that lets nVidia set the market price. Radeon needs to spend 2 to 3 generations establishing a name. Even though Arc cards don't sell at $250, that is the very reason why a few nVidia owners are following Intel releases. But Radeon selling a $1000 4080 GPU for $800 does not get people's attention because of the performance difference at that price. But a 4080 level GPU from Radeon for $500 has the potential for some people to dump nVidia overnight.

To get a better quality of product, you do have to pay more money to get the quality. Something can be a high price and be a good deal for the money. If the price exceeds the product quality, then don't buy, but also sometimes buying cheap is too expensive.

You can vote with your wallet. I don't consider politics in what I purchase. I buy based on quality of product, not location.

I think your first sentence of reply has a mistake, maybe a word is missing, it is not clear. Or am I not understanding correctly?
