Started researching origins of Israel/Palestine beginning in the Bronze Ages til present to dunk on everyone with their shitty takes. I am and never have been a big history person, but I've more or less gone through the Bronze Ages - 1940's and figured out surrounding context for myself, just need to flesh out my notes. I'd love suggestions on what to study that could be important to getting an advanced grasp on the relations over the years, from any time period. Plsthx

Thanks for this. It kinda sounds like all of that would be best case scenario, tbh.
Yeah, it sounds like no matter how badly the US might want to cling on, there are a lot of different factors at play that could prohibit that. It's just unfathomable to me to think that the US would become so strained on military resources and money that the aid to Ukraine would keep them from backing Israel in a meaningful way since we're so obsessed with war. I hope that we do just run out of resources/support for both.
Oh yeah sorry I didn't phrase my question correctly, I get what you're saying and I totally agree
100% chance of Israel unleashing its nuclear arsenal?
I figured it wouldn't be easy to tell what the aftermath might look like, but I'm just unfamiliar with the Hamas platform in general so was just curious how extreme they really are. Most of the talk specific to Hamas that I see are lib takes that I'm apprehensive to believe but then I read this which made me ask the question
How do yall think things will actually pan out for all Palestinians if Hamas turns out victorious? I imagine things can't go anywhere but up from the horrific position they are in now, but what will life look like for non-Muslim Palestinians/Palestinian jews? Are there any good sources I can look at that might relate to these thoughts
Jesus, that's so fucked up. I'm not surprised that he's still there, though. I remember ours manhandled the shit out of thus freshman I knew. The kid was a shit talker but he was like maybe 110 lbs soaking wet. He also just absolutely relished in intimidating us. He had held me and my friends for over an hour trying to sweat us when he came up on us at the park. It was a regular occurrence, threatening that he would call our parents or throw us in juvi. It was demented.
Yep, officer Davis was my SRO back in the early 2000's. He was known for harassing kids at school AND purposefully being the cop to bust kids after hours for smoking weed and such. He fucking hated teenagers
Thanks for the info. The pictures and video just look so cute and wholesome lol I couldn't believe it. I really hope that, if they are treated extra kindly as the elderly, that it might make them change their perspective on things. Who knows
Okay I'm drunk and also a bit naive, I've seen a couple of videos/pictures of elderly captured senior settlers with Hamas just having what looks like a grand old time. Are there real and being nice to these old grannies, are they joke images from some other shit? I can't find them again but I think there is one where the lady is holding an AR or something and I'm so confused lol
fuuuuu I haven't looked at the modlog yet....Time to break out some popcorn
Awesome thank you for the link! Just based on the synopsis it looks like it's going to go into detail with some of the points I wanted to highlight/challenge so that will be great
