YJ-12, YJ-18, and YJ-21 are pretty formidable offensive weapons.

AGEIS seems to do well defending against it, but Taiwan itself doesn't have a robust anti missile capabilities like carrier groups.

A lot of faith is put into the SM-3 system for high altitude intercepts. Thankfully it seems like Japan has some SM-3 capabilities.

I feel like China's missiles are quite dangerous. Assuming that they function well

Just take out the wifi module. If you need wifi just use a USB adapter. That's your kill switch.

I play a lot of flights and train rides. Tried the laptop life. No real comparison especially with the APUs being so strong these days.

I have a two button flashlight. One button to change settings and one to turn on and off. It has memory so it uses the last setting used that's not strobe or the highest setting

PhotoPills

Invaluable as a photographer. I think it's closed source though which is a shame.

Just use MAS

You're already paying them with your data.

I enjoy a program called Alldup. It's quite nice for my uses

With camera sensors being so good, the major differences will be autofocus capabilities.

Imagine an open source autofocus algorithm that people can use their own photos locally so that it can focus on your shooting style.

5 days without putting it into the fridge? That's asking for trouble.

I feel comfortable about 2-4 hours without a fridge, but I've occasionally left rice out 12 hours a few times with no issues. Same with pasta.

I cruise control at 120 most of the time. I hit 140-160 when passing. I'd feel like maybe 1/4 of the cars do pass me and maybe only 1 or 2 go faster than 160 all the time.

Every year? The only person I know within my immediate vicinity has phones ranging from 2019 2022.

Also something you use probably 3-5 hours a day vs something you might use only a few hours a week isn't immediately comparable.

A modern day necessity vs a relatively niche item.
