Bazzite for gaming, but you will only get a cursory glance at Linux as it's locked down for the most part. Avoid Ubuntu like the plague, go for something like Mint (based on but not the same as) if you want to get an easy Linux experience to learn more. If you like doing it the hard way (easier nowadays) go for something like Arch or Gentoo where you get all the controls you might want over your system. I myself have used Debian for years without issue. Fedora (which Bazzite is based off of) is a decent enough distro as well. You can get a better insight in what you could go for by using https://distrochooser.de/

The only reason ICE exists is to capture US citizens for made up crimes, incarcerate them and put them into corporate slavery, forcibly relocate them to countries they have never been to, or execute them. They are a terrorist group and should be treated that way.

Hey, at least it's not snap.

They want me to hide everything about myself. They keep moving the Overton window. I refuse to humour them. I won't be driven into a corner. If they don't like it, that's their problem.

Good on the German Chess Federation to not bow to pressure.

It's too warm to scribe...

I clearly need to eat more cheese.

I'm not sure this is the right question. Shouldn't it be what hardware is not supported by Linux? Most of the time it's the Linux (kernel) developers who create the drivers for hardware support since companies still seem of the opinion that they only need to support Windows, with some exceptions to the rule?

Am I mistaken in this?

Some people are very defensive of the terms they use themselves, or terms in general. Just go with what works for you. Ignore the detractors. You must feel good about your own identity. Nobody else has to; they don't live your life.

Gnome makes no sense anyway, this is just another example.

I'm not going to edit this file much more. It's too much. Share it, edit it, make a wiki out of it, I don't care.
