Fewer than DC, yet Wyoming gets 2 senators and a voting congressperson, while DC gets no voting representatives in congress.

Stay home, ICE Nazis
I'm sorry that happened. That is really unfortunate. If you share links I am willing to help report such behaviors on beehaw.
High school very much is real life for kids.
Oof. This individual is really counting on "no such thing as bad publicity". As someone who had had final say on a handful of hirings, this would be a red flag. Being able to learn from mistakes and use your tools is vital in software engineering. Publicly blaming tools is not a good look.
Really depends on what the question asked. I'd mostly trust the GSS to report the data correctly, but not really trust Wapo to do so. I looked at GSS questions (can't view data on mobile) and it seems like Wapo might be being drawing some misleading conclusions from the data, as no question specifically asked this. Hard to be sure.
Beehaw is nice on that they don't tolerate faux-civility in any form. If you see a spate of of passive aggression, report it.
It can be a bit easier to spot active aggression in rudeness, etc, but that doesn't imply passive aggression is somehow "nice".
I agree with your latter paragraph but not the former. I'm really not liking these overbroad IP claims. This is almost worse than the Nintendo/Palworld stuff, which was already pretty bad.
Tencent may also be a villain, but if Sony gets its way here, it will be bad for games and other forms of expression.
If that's your personal preference, that's fine. Just recognize that not everyone is OK with people being rude (or unfriendly, etc) to them.
Beehaw is structured around that understanding (among others).
This is indeed an important step.
One of the biggest failures of the Democratic party over the past 20 years was the complete abandonment of some "red" areas. After winning with the 50-state strategy in 2008, they just abandoned it. They wouldn't run candidates in some congressional elections, let alone local ones. Pelosi prevented most congress people from going on Fox News for years, etc.
This made the Rove-inspired painting of the Democratic party as "elite", "coastal", "urban" etc etc much easier for OP-aligned messengers.
While the Democratic party policies are usually more beneficial to most citizens than GOP policies, it's not a surprise many voters still felt like the Democratic party was not theirs.
I'm not a mod and you're really being unfriendly to multiple users right here, right now. Be nicer, even (especially?) when you disagree.
If there was an FDA anymore, sigh
