I was more a Shitbag Steve connoisseur (I can't remember the real name so please no Crucifixion!)
If the bot link doesn't work it's more likely a client issue I would assume (the app or browser you're using)
Your link is broken, unfortunately the last '):' was appended to the link
Threads like this are great!
Not for infromative purposes, but as a reminder how whipped and nonsensical cat owners can be.
I never noticed until I got my own cats though. Used to be a dog person, through and through. Still am, but now I also love my cats.
Now like dogs, they are individuals so there are adjustments needed but let me just list all that I do with my cats that works amazing for them...
These 2 cats are healthy af, not overweight and well they eat and drink well.
I'll add, I grew up with ad libitum dog feeding too. That said my 3 dogs currently are on a 2 meals a day regiment. This is purely due to the fact we have some overly food motivated breeds who will fight and we need to have them seperate when food is involved in any capacity (their food and food in general)
This rant just to say, cat owners very often come off as the type that try to sell chunks of gypsum and amethyst to heal your woes.
As an ad libitum cat feeder, 0 issues so far. They eat when they're hungry
The first xkcd I ever did see was this one, fitting that its also the first xkcd I've witnessed referenced on Lemmy
That's likely due to the exploit on your instance.
Most instances as a precautionary measure invalidated all login sessions.
You need to clear cache in tbe app and/or just delete your login and readd it.
I had to do it for Jerboa as my instance admins took the precautionary measure that yours did as well (though it was more necessary for lemmy.world aince they were jit hardest with the exploit)
Its the proper way to tag a community!

@ for users iirc
Your user name would have been a fun notification to receive while troubleshooting ahaaha

Comment came in loud and clear
This is due to having your session invalidated after that exploit that hit lemmy.world decently hard.
Delete your user, and readd worked for me. Alternatively clearing the apps cache I've heard can work.
Remove and reinstall would also work, but is just a more roundabout way of the other two methods.
Technically, it does show a gap in Jerboa to me. It can't handle the unexpected scenario of server side invalidation of login sessions.
