Arbitration is never the right answer. Fix the judicial system, don’t privatize it.

Sorry, no matter how you look at it, it is a stupid comment from Musk.

I’m ok with higher income people paying higher taxes as long it is to the benefit of society. The case in this post it is just to line the pockets of extremely rich people.

I don’t invest my time in Google products anymore. Right now Gmail is the last Google service I still use.

Pretty good record if you ask me. Republicans may call it liberal, but it just good common sense laws.

Democracy happens at the general election. Primaries are held by the parties and they decide their own rules. Are you saying US was not a democracy before the 70s when delegates picked candidates without regards to the primaries?

The claim that boneless chicken can have bones sounds ridiculous. However, the suit is about whether the restaurant should be liable for its chicken food (which naturally has bones) not being 100% bone free. I think it is a high bar and no restaurant should be held to that level. I do not believe a restaurant should be held negligent and liable for all the medical bills because they did not remove every last piece of bone from the chicken.

Did he have any other option? I guess he could keep his seat from prison, but that would bring so much attention to himself that he’d eventually be impeached.

I’m so tired of old-school managers whose job is to just attend meetings tell me how being in a noisy office is more productive for my highly technical, focus-dependent work.

Sure, pal. Writing scientific code in a place where people attend meetings with their speakers on, and where there’s always the expectation of being interrupted at any time is better than working alone at home.
