Had the same thought after reading the book today lol

Dude looks real uncomfortable in his recliner until you realize he's representing a vertical line

I also caught up on the Bobiverse recently! According to his website, Taylor plans at least ten books, though I see what you mean with the most recent having few leftover threads to follow.

Hey now, Satan didn't do anything deserving of that comparison! That's pure Fury of God right there

Barnetts Mega Sour Fizz Bombs are insanely sour for about a minute. We love sour candy in our house, but we can only have two a day for the damage they do. They can be tough to find if avoiding Amazon, we have to get them from a British imports store a few cities over.

Freeze-dried sour Skittles are also excellent. They'll be gone pretty fast

Don't spoil the apples, feed them to the wildlife!

Wow, we actually have something in common

This happened to my wife a couple years ago, really freaked her out. She loves food, so it depressed her for almost two weeks to not get to enjoy anything

My book club is going to discuss Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte this week. I finished pretty early, so I've been listening to The Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch. It's also standalone sci-fi, though it's doing the thing I don't so much like where it oversimplifies some of its key tech. The prologue was fantastic!

I'm learning to make my own clothes, but fabric is expensive and buying patterns from corporations feels like death by a thousand cuts. Anybody know of a resource for shared patterns? Megathread understandably doesn't address this particular need.
