You'd be amazed with the number of millennials who need someone to get food for them. One of my friends from high school is a neckbeard who doesn't work and his parents literally bring all his food into his apartment and he's rude about it because they interrupt him playing video games.

Tipping is literally becoming extortion now.

The end result of the tipping surge is going to be the collapse of all tipped work. People will stop using tipped services entirely and eventually the pyramid of wealthy users who can afford increasingly high tip is going to shrink.

If they see the tip before taking the job I could see that making sense.

Federation will be the only real option considering the massive storage and bandwidth requirements. Even then, once an instance starts to grow, they'll have to come up with some type of monetization strategy.

Even a low population instance will likely need many terabytes of storage.

Brave is dropping the ball. It's the only mobile option.

How is MAID any different from Action T4?

I think the main reason people say it is because growth happens during times of discomfort. If you're only ever comfortable, you'll become weak and die early because your body will fail faster.

My sister was diagnosed with ASD prior to transitioning, and she went the complete opposite way from the "keep yourself comfortable" mindset.

It can absolutely be fun to be comfortable for a while, but eventually the other shoe will drop and it's going to lead to misery and deteriorate your mental state.

I have a roommate with ASD that I've really been trying to drive this home to, and completely honestly, I feel incredibly guilty like I'm enabling him by allowing him to live with me for cheap without imposing any expectation that he improve himself.

I have issues with this with roommates with ASD. My wife has the same problem at work.

I'll allow text messages because I know some people prefer it, but after the third text I'm calling.

I have an autistic roommate who doesn't even want to answer the phone after sending a long series of texts.

Pim Tool likes to rant about online dating, but the reality is that there are dudes that can only date this way.

The thing that concerns me though is that eventually more people are going to identify as "awkward" and will refuse to go on dates with anyone they meed IRL and feel like everyone should only contact them online. We already see this with irrational fears of talking on the phone where millennials and zoomers insist on communicating exclusively through texts.
