Also has one of the better TV adaptations

The Tetris Effect by Dan Ackerman is a lot of fun, a pretty breezy read, and is fairly unbelievable for how true the story is. It involves (in varying amounts) programming, science, and DIY, mostly from an early-80s perspective (since a lot of it is about the development of the game), plus some corporate espionage and Soviet meddling.

I was only drinking a cup of coffee a day

Yaaaaaaawn. Let us know when you need an entire pot just to go to bed. No wonder you had such an easy time "quitting" lol

Try Fern's season! You don't have to watch any of the seasons in order, they all exist in a vacuum. And it's all on YouTube! I say give S14 E1 a shot and see how you like it :)

That's very true. It's not a fair comparison. The average pig is probably quite a bit more intelligent than the average actor.

Loved her on Taskmaster. "Have I met these potatoes before?!"

Between herself, John Kearns, and Munya, that season was a goldmine for 'comedians I had never heard of before and ended up loving'.

Look at how upset you are, at something that's totally out of your control. So much anger, I could drown in it. Maybe try to focus on more positive emotions.

Die mad.

I wanna focus in on this statement. Do you say hurtful things like this because maybe deep down you're afraid that you'll die angry, angry at things that are completely out of your control? This is a very natural fear so don't be afraid to admit it.

I don't give a fuck how I sound

Well you had me fooled, given that you seem to think what you're saying is so important

Be a fucking adult

I wanna dig into this, please elaborate on your adult ideal

That kind of thinking has no place in any modern society and neither do you

Psssssst saying stuff like that doesn't make you sound very smart

My ex told me people didn't like me because I shared my thoughts too much, and I just got feedback from my boss about the same thing

Often times when this criticism is brought up it's not the fact that you're simply sharing your thoughts, but rather the thoughts themselves that you're sharing. If your opinions are problematic then obviously people won't want to hear them and won't want to be around you. So if you don't mind, could you share exactly what you said that made these people criticize you in this way?

And I apologize for being an asshole in response. I would say that I hadn't had my morning coffee yet but I've been trying to hold myself more accountable so instead I'll blame my overall addiction to caffeine

the vast VAST majority of average internet users are basically brain dead and want maximum convinence at any cost, including privacy and being treated right by the service as a user. They quite simply don't care what happens as long as they can still get their garbage content drip fed to them without any work, learning, or inconvinece on their part.

If you don't want to be called pretentious then maybe you shouldn't spout pretentious nonsense like this

(I highlighted the pretentious parts)
