It's quite easy to use once you get the hang of it. In most situations, it's the prefered option because you can just have your docker container, choose where relevant files are allowing you to properly isolate your applications. Or on single purpose servers, it makes deployment of applications and maintaining dependencies significantly easier.
At the very least, it's a great tool to add to your toolbox to use as needed.

I miss the simpler times of PHP and jQuery

I have to assume the essence of my point still stands without clarification.

Or maybe if you see racism everywhere, you're the problem.
A big part of the problem that the average person has in relation to race is that they constantly need to be aware of it as to not offend someone who looks to deep into it, and usually isn't even part of the race that's supposedly offended. This constant awareness tends of lead to people forming actual opinions about race.

If your opinion is that jews should not be criticized because they happen to be jews, and you say that as a deflection from the actual argument, you now created someone who has more dislike towards jews because their race is used as a shield from criticism.

And just to clarify, both perspective are stupid, but if you look at how right wing racists think, this is a big part of it.

There is only a racial implication if you look deep into it or your brain is wired to see everything as racist.

It's a process. There certainly are a lot of scams, and correct regulations need to be in place. It is a tool used by people who do harm, though it is not the cause of harm. At the same time, it's helped a lot of startups innovate in non-traditional ways, and i think a global and affordable currency that is not tied to the local currency has the potential to help a lot of people. Ethereum in theory should be more stable in terms of price as it keeps being minted and destroyed trough use of the blockchain. You can speculate with it, or the ERC-20 tokens in it's ecosystem. Ledger size is an issue i've had to deal with myself setting up a node, but it's also an issue that can be fixed in several ways if it looks like it could become a significant enough issue, as they did with PoW to PoS.

I think it's hard to measure what good and bad crypto is done when you only hear about outragous corruption and crime but not how the everyday person uses it. I use it in a way that helps myself and others and I'm no north korean drug lord scamming people.

Just a slightly more informed right. 👍

I agree, BTC is awful. But I also think its just a starting point for something that has the potential to become much better.

That's hard to do because it's a very broad statement. What I would need to send depends on which parts of your beliefsystem are incomplete or incorrect. Or i'd be writing a two hour essay combining facts and conclusions. I'll try to keep it short.

You can easily conjure up statistics to back the claim that black people generally are poorer, and this does have a race-based history. However, underneath that is the class inequality, which because of the historic race inequality, means a lot of people of color being in the lower class.

At this point in time, inequality between the ultrarich and poor (of all colors) is broadening faster than ever. People looking for someone to blame. Media directs them in one of two directions, both incorrect.
a) The problem is migrants and communists who want to destroy tradition because they want free money.
b) The problem is racists and bigots who just love to hate for the sake of it.
These two factions are set up against eachother, reinforcing the need for the other's existence.
Now that's not to say both sides are equally incorrect, don't get me wrong. But for the most part, neither of them acknowledge the issue of corruption in government allowing things like lobbying and gerrymandering which essentially provides a way for cooperations and money interests to have bought and paid for politicians on both sides. Since the system is inherently set up for money to have different objectives than commoners, we get eaten.

This is the underlying issue causing race issues in the first place. Tribalism is exploited by these people because commoners want answers they're not getting. It happens on both sides and it does not address the underlying issue.

Yes, racism exists, and it should be addressed. But you cannot fight racism with more racism. You attack the problem at it's root instead.
