Constitutionally he absolutely does not have the power to do what he's doing. Our system of checks and balances is failing because the Supreme Court and the Legislature have both all but fully ceded their authority to the Executive. Constitutionally, the job of the Executive is to implement the laws created by the Legislature and abide by rulings from the judiciary, not to do whatever they want with no basis in law or procedure.
I don't think that's what's happening at all. I think our trans brothers and sisters are suffering the brunt of a focused culture-war campaign to villainize them and drive conservative outrage. I think the LGB and QIA+ folks in this country are doing what they can in their communities to protect them and each other. Those in charge would seek to divide us and we cannot let that happen.
I don't get the sense the therapist was trying to "police" them at all. They said people might perceive him as less male if he calls his chests "breasts." Maybe not a great move to give advice as a therapist, but hardly a reason to terminate therapy.
Therapists are humans who make errors and miscommunications just like everyone else. Part of going to therapy is learning to be able to talk through your emotions about these things, and part of being a therapist is continually repairing the relationship when it gets strained. If he brings this up with his therapist and gets pushback, that would be a different story, but that's unlikely to be the case given what we know. He should just tell her how it made him feel.

It's this one. Public opinion is accepting of the "LGB" portion by an overwhelming margin. I know a lot of queer folks whose conservative families are perfectly accepting of them these days, way different than it was 20 years ago. People who are intersex can get fucked though, apparently.
The wild garlic being discussed here is Allium ursinum, domesticated garlic is Allium sativum and you can totally eat the leaves in addition to the bulb. There are also lots of other edible species of garlic found across the world. They are all collectively in the garlic genus and are all different forms of garlic.
