My 7 year old loves Minecraft and I've been learning about it, but could never see myself choosing to play it independently

80s kids play Minecraft? I was almost 30 when that was released and definitely missed that boat
Oprah's expression kinda looks like "get away from us." Whoever the younger woman is clearly already knows what's up too and is telling him to fuck off with her eyes
"While its early history is undeniably tied to a time of great injustice, over the last several decades it evolved into a place of reflection, education, and dialogue."
Built in 1859, the property was most recently used as an event space and popular wedding venue.

Here's a brief review of the study results. They were only looking for association, not causality:
Long sleep was associated with reduced overall cognitive function (β ± standard error = −0.25 ± 0.07, p < 0.001), with strongest effects in those with depressive symptoms using (−0.74 ± 0.30, p = 0.017) and not using antidepressants (−0.60 ± 0.26, p = 0.024). Weaker but significant effects were observed in those without depressive symptoms (−0.18 ± 0.09, p = 0.044). No significant associations were observed in participants using antidepressants without depressive symptoms.
**Weaker but significant effects were observed in those without depressive symptoms (−0.18 ± 0.09, p = 0.044). **
This is certainly something to investigate further.
It's been a pretty weak wildflower season due to the drought, unfortunately. That rain we had last week should help push those summer flowers out though!
I think those solar panels should be lifted by two people...
I'm in central Texas, and all my sunflowers are starting to bud! A week or two and they'll be in bloom
You should give Strange New Worlds a shot. I haven't liked much post DS9 and Voyager, but SNW gets it right.
I take umbrage with this meme's characterization of the twist and tuck as chaotic. It's literally the fastest and easiest method without compromising freshness
You'll find all sorts of absurd state laws on the books all over the country, often as soon as something changes federally, they're just forgotten about and never changed.
This was the law that was challenged in Lawrence v. Texas that had the Supreme Court overturn such laws nationally in 2003
