We get it, you're really dedicated to posting negative things about Joe Biden. "Did not receive a standing ovation from some of the crowd" is really reaching though

This is utterly paltry compared to the cost of a stadium, and the LV convention bureau is funded by a dedicated hotel occupancy tax, not the city

The WNBA salary cap is $1.4 million, and the deal with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority totals $1.2 million for the team.

The deal also is more money than half of the roster makes on their WNBA contract; six of the 12 players on the roster make under $100,000, according to Spotrac. A'ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum are the top earners at $200,000 each, while rookies Dyaisha Fair and Kate Martin will make $67,249 this season, the lowest on the team, according to the website.

Guard Sydney Colson, who according to Spotrac makes $76,535, said on social media it is "a life-changing investment."

Note that Steph Curry made $52 million last year, while the WNBA investigates women who get 0.2% of that.

If the government was taking 45% of anyone's money, there would be no deficit, Social Security would be solvent in perpetuity, and we'd easily be able to provide universal healthcare. Instead, not a single god damn person pays anywhere close to 45% of their money in taxes

The difference being CMS has the power to create and implement federal regulations, I suppose. There isn't any equivalent federal regulation around homeless shelters, as far as I'm aware.

How do you do that? I've worked in healthcare for years and don't think we ever did this
