There are a ton of people in the US who have really good paid leave policies at their jobs, it's just that there are also a ton of people who have really bad leave policies at their jobs

The CPB doesn't even own those entities, it only distributes money to them, money that only makes up a portion of their revenue. And the CPB sure as hell doesn't own "local news" lol. Where's Sinclair Broadcasting on this chart? Where's SiriusXM? This clip-art is straight-up misinformation
That article doesn't say anything about the moratorium except that it exists. My question was why it exists
That's quite a fantasy you're telling yourself. A huge portion of China's people's wealth is wrapped up in real estate, and tens of millions of stalled residential units have already been purchased by the Chinese people, and that money is now gone, taken by the developers.
The IMF recommendation here was "to deploy 'one-off' fiscal resources to complete and deliver pre-sold properties or compensate homebuyers." That would literally be rescuing the Chinese people who were burned by developers. Instead, the Chinese government is supporting the tech and manufacturing industries. Don't pretend like China is some paradise where the common people aren't getting fucked
The moratorium exists for a reason
What is that? I'm not seeing anything about a moratorium in this article...
OP is awful, apparently, but I also don't like that bot
The "top Democrats" being discussed in that article as considering an open primary were keenly aware how all of them coming out in lockstep in support of handing the nomination to Harris had the potential to backfire as "king-making" as far as the public was concerned. There's an explicit quote from Pelosi's staff about this in there.
This article you posted is about whether Harris would get the nomination and doesn't name a single other potential candidate, proving my point. What I don't see in here is anything at all resembling the fictional drama you created above
Kamala Harris was the favorite to replace Biden by a fucking light year. She was poised to immediately take over his entire campaign apparatus and his money, which no other candidate could do. Pundits all around were speculating she'd get the nomination, and were widely reporting that Democratic politicians they spoke to also believed that. The only question was whether Biden would endorse her immediately or withhold an endorsement, and he chose to endorse her immediately. I just don't buy anything of what you're saying here.
"Trust me bro. I'm Nancy Pelosi."
I know one of those bars. When my city banned indoor smoking back in the mid-aughts, that bar still reeked of cigarettes for years. It was just coming out of the walls
Your comment history makes it seem like you're angry a lot. Do you feel angry a lot? Do you lash out like this at people in real life? If so, I can only assume you're very lonely. It's possible to change, you can do it!
According to the BLS, about 45% of nonunion workers in the private sector have paid vacation time and about 75% have paid sick leave. The numbers are quite a bit higher in unionized and public sector jobs. A bunch of states have implemented various mandatory paid leave laws. At the nonunion hospital I used to work at here in Texas, everyone got about 6 weeks of paid time off, which could be used as sick time or vacation time, plus 9 paid holidays. This included housekeeping, food services, nurses, everyone.
I'm not coping, I clearly stated above the current situation is really bad for a lot of people, but it's also not "zero paid leave for everyone in the US" as implied by the graphic
