Without knowing anything else about this guy, I'm going to diagnose him with bipolar mania.

My point is money should not be the purpose.

Take this and apply it literally every aspect of western culture. It seems like you personally have strong feelings about how you think sex should be, but there are many, many people who disagree. We live in a society, I say mind your own business if someone's doing something you don't like that also doesn't affect you

Whose victory over Japan, exactly? The USSR fought Japan for less than a month, only when they were already near defeat, after the US and UK fought them for over 3 and a half years, and China for 8 years.

Last year, Russia adopted a law on mentioning the victory over Japan at events related to the end of the World War II. The move came after Japan imposed sanctions on top Russian officials, their relatives, as well as on Russian banks and companies, over Moscow’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

That sounds...petty

Alamo Drafthouse has been doing this since its inception. Most of the fun to be had there is at showings of old movies. Sometimes they just show old movies, other times they have full-on events where they have themed food, or everyone comes in costume, or a sing-along, or live commentary. Totally changed my movie-going experience having access to the Drafthouse. I know they've trended corporate over the past decade, but I still love it.

Tesla's market share in Europe declined from 27.8% to 19.9% year over year as of this past March. Tesla's sales in Europe fell 36% while BMW and Volvo had 60% and 70% growth in EV sales over the same period, respectively.

Especially now that a lot of countries are starting to notice the drain on energy networks.

Lmao

But I doubt they're really "struggling".

You don't have to sit there and imagine things, because they are a publicly traded company...

It's clear Musk's politics have turned off a ton of potential customers worldwide. Tesla sales are falling off, while eg the Hyundai Ioniq is setting sales records in the US

And if you know of a way to discuss political spectrum without subjectivity I would love to hear it.

Of course that doesn't exist, my point is why does this specific subjective opinion get promoted on here?

It’s crucial to note that our bias scale is calibrated to the political spectrum of the United States, which may not align with the political landscapes of other nations.

But what even is this false left-right, liberal-conservative, Democrat-Republican one-dimensional scale? The first thing they state on this page is that all this is inherently subjective. Who is MBFC to determine where the middle of this scale exists? If people want to seek out their opinion, that's fine, but this is inherently a subjective opinion about what constitutes "left center" vs "center," for example. I don't get how MBFC deserves their opinion on every news post.

Also the formatting of the bot is awful as displayed on most Lemmy apps. On mine it's a giant wall of text. Other posts/bots don't look bad, just this one.
