I agree with all that, I just don't agree with William Dodson, M.D., LF-APA. I tried to look up the "LF-APA" credential, btw, because I've never heard of it, and William Dodson appears to be the only person on the internet who has it. Anyone know what it indicates?

Psychotherapy does not particularly help patients with RSD because the emotions hit suddenly and completely overwhelm the mind and senses.

Hard disagree from me, dawg. Rejection sensitivity is a super common target behavior in psychotherapy treatments like DBT and RODBT, and it's super treatable with those modalities. This article saying "only drugs work" is uninformed and misleading

Tim Walz had a great interview the other day where he talked about how when you get specific all MAGA arguments break down. They're riding on vibes here, not ideas.

Anyone looking to dive into a Queen album, might I recommend A Night at the Opera?

Corporations are people my friend!

Edit: I don't actually believe this lmao...this is an infamous quote from Mitt Romney from when he was trying to be president. And also Axel Springer the man died 40 years ago

I gotta say, whether or not your intentions are positive, your presentation is confrontational and petty. I'm not vegan or vegetarian, btw

Totally agree with your first point, at least. These companies spend way more to influence legislators and regulators and to try to pay less taxes. $8 million is an afterthought to them. Tyson alone had $53 billion in revenue in 2022.

Point of order from an American: Politico is a wholly owned subsidiary of German multinational Axel Springer.

I know it's easy to be cynical, but isn't all this coming out specifically because the FTC under the Biden Administration sued to stop this merger? Credit where credit is due for that.

After the Civil Rights Act was signed by LBJ, there was a massive party realignment, and the Republican Party of Eisenhower's time died

I live in Texas, and can confidently tell you the people writing these laws have no fundamental concept of what the internet is or how to implement or enforce such a law for consistent adherence.

I can also tell you with confidence this law will be wielded with impunity against specific companies/sites our corrupt, petulant AG decides to go after. Fuck Ken Paxton.

As far as users in Texas, this is nothing a VPN can't fix.
