As if that made a difference when the people being demonized were Italian or Irish. Immigrants have always been used as scapegoats in the US to divide the working class, even when they were white

Arrests for illegal crossings plummeted nearly 80% from December to July

The data disagrees with you. I think both are true...Republicans make up stories and use scare tactics about immigration to manipulate their voters, and the number of people crossing or attempting to cross the border illegally is significantly down from a year ago.

Also the Texas Tribune isn't your enemy my man

Absolutely no reason to make cynical jokes about weather emergencies like this. Weather emergencies happen everywhere in the world

Joe Biden doing some heavy lifting in this narrative as a VP and one term president. If anything, Joe Biden and Bill Clinton actually prove this point that anyone can become president, both come from very modest means.

The Bushes, however, are a dysfunctional political dynasty stretching back to senator and investment banker Prescott Bush, George HW's father, and Samuel Prescott Bush, a steel executive and industrialist, who was HW's grandfather.

Also, you left out that this is the 3rd election in a row with Trump on the ballot.

Valleau was arraigned Friday on one felony count of ethnic intimidation and one misdemeanor count of assault and battery. He pleaded not guilty and was issued a $25,000 bond.

If convicted of ethnic intimidation, Valleau faces up to two years in prison and/or a fine of up to $5,000.

That doesn't include the misdemeanor assault charge. He's not being charged with attempted murder, it sounds like he brandished a knife and yelled slurs but didn't attack her.

I'm talking about changing minds. CO2 emissions have already been framed as pollution for decades, and that narrative has demonstrably failed to move the public consciousness. Just saying "oh it's definitely pollution when there's too much of it" is dismissive and will change zero minds, assuming that's your goal here.

Fully aware. Also, CO2 is the biggest problem, and addressing CO2 emissions will go a large way toward addressing gases like methane.

CFC emissions worldwide have dropped off a cliff since the 80s, and that can be viewed as a global success story we should emulate for CO2.

Whatever point you're trying to make without saying it out loud is false:

I recall reading at the initial hearing the artist had several women dressed identically in attendance performing choreographed movements in the courtroom. She sounded absolutely delighted at the idea of being sued over this, because her entire point was putting men in a position that usually only women are in, and vice versa

Edit: From the BBC

As the parties sparred, the museum's supporters were somewhat stealing the spotlight. They had periods of complete stillness and silence, before moving in some kind of subtle, synchronised dance - crossing their legs and resting their heads on their fists, clutching their hearts, or peering down their spectacles. One even sat there pointedly flipping through feminist texts and making notes.

I loved it. It only got better as the series progressed, and the devotion to Greek mythology is amazing. I read Jeff Goldblum only stepped in after Hugh Grant backed out, but even though most of the cast is British, I couldn't imagine this series without him.

It being at its lowest price in a decade is literally true. I don't have a clue why you're bringing the pandemic into this since this stock reached its peak in 2018. Ubisoft stock has been on a precipitous decline for 4 straight years now, wtf are you even trying to convey here?
