I mean they dont do it in their songs (unless its like world war z or whatever) shrug-outta-hecks artists are whatever, they aren't your friends, they arent politicians, its a crapshoot what they think on any situation

Same argument led me to kinda more softish view on christianity role in colonialism, they did suppress gender/familial expressions in local societies (cause bible and roman law says so), but self-evidently its just pretense of imperialism (not that pretense can't be harmful or move single individuals in zealot fashion), it was democracy against dastardly commies, now its feminism/lgbtq. They just find points of cultural difference to justify lebensraum, the primary force stays the same
