Well, that's called an honor killing. For a start, This article defines that concept in detail (which I tell you to forewarn that I'm immune to sealioning about the definition), has tables of trends, and has credible sources at the bottom. Honor killings, also known as shame killings, have attracted the attention of the EU as a major issue to be solved as a consequence of their spread. I can't find a lot of data related to France specifically, but I do know the French consider their country to have a Femicide problem in general, and it's reasonable to expect that if the total number of women being murdered is on the rise, the raw number of honor killings is climbing even if the proportion remains fixed.

What '80s fantasy movie is this soundstage from?
I bought Call of Duty 4 on Steam in 2008 and downloaded it on my neighbor's unsecured wifi network, which was the only internet I had at the time. It took almost a week.
Here's the same link with 75 pounds of tracking bullshit removed.

The real issue: how do you even screw up that badly at writing an ampersand?
Sad for all the people who voted no to protect their skill cape, guess they'll have to get good at something without using 15 years of optimization distilled into the wiki as a crutch for once.
The website isn't the issue, the issue is that your browser isn't implementing Lemmy's version of markdown correctly.
It does look bigger without the space, you need to not be using an app with a horrible poverty renderer

That's due to a bug with the AOSP keyboard that google has been ignoring for like 6 years.
