I'm curious if you have any resources about YIMBYism from a left wing perspective? I know it's a woefully incomplete solution and it's impossible to reform capitalism from the inside, but should leftists support YIMBY policies in the short term? Or does building more not actually reduce the rent for people? Also how does this play into gentrification?

I guess the short version is: I don't consider the parties engaged in genocidal rhetoric to be representative of Israel, and hope they won't be in a position to be representative of Israel for long.

I think this pretty accurately sums up why well-meaning neoliberals (if that's not a complete oxymoron) are unable to grapple with the idea that America bad. They view all the things that a country does that might be bad as just some bad actors, or one bad man in charge (see e.g. Trump, Netanyahu) without being able to see the bigger picture, which is of course
