I think subscription-based are more common on iOS than Android because iOS devs need to pay a subscription to Apple to be able to continue to publish apps on their store.

After using RSS feeds for a while on my phone, I switched to using them exclusively on my laptop. Having them on something not as easy to whip out as my phone makes me less inclined to compulsively check them.

The download has two versions of the map, the wad and pk3, you want the pk3.

Makes sense. If I did buy one of those devices (I find them overpriced), I would want to make it as nice as possible. Kudos to that community.

While this article makes good points regarding flaws in Flatpak's sandbox, I can't help but shake the feeling the author dismissed Flatpak from the get-go because it was not was the author wants.

I'm sure they'll force it to reopen with a new, handpicked mod team that won't do nearly as good of a job.
