What do you mean? If you're dual-booting Windows and Linux, Windows Update will reliably mess up the bootloader because who wouldnwant to use another OS?

I hate it. I wish it and similar flat, ugly UIs weren't everywhere. I get that some people like them, but I wish I could have all my devices' UIs look they way I want them to. Give me skeumorphic, glassy UIs any day.

This approach only makes sense as a blanket defederation of all kbin servers. Seems shady.
If they don't want us to communicate with the users of their server, they should be defederated. Sucks for the users, but they can hop to another server whose admins don't break communication inelegantly and ghost admins who want to know what's going on.
If it's just a bug, then obviously we should wait for it to be fixed, but if they're not even saying they'll look into it, I don't have much hope.

That's still the half the case on Switch. You can put the cart in and play without installing the game to system storage, but how big the patches are and how necessary they are varies.
