Its strange to me that this is even a question that needs to be asked. All art is subjective and opinions will always differ. So if you haven't already, just watch it and decide for yourself.

Just don't watch it with your homies or your pride might get in the way of you enjoying it.

..or do, and enjoy it anyway. It's actually pretty funny in parts, and the movie is going viral for its songs, they're actually good songs for once. Thank fuck. I'm so sick of listening to "Let it Go" 10 times a week with my 6 year old daughter. It's a relief for parents everywhere.

Lol, wait till you have kids. They garden will be dead and gone and you'll be so tired that one drink will put you to sleep.

Just find a woman that swallows dude. Don't neuter yourself just yet. Also the pill is very effective these days, and a chemical abortion is also cheap and less invasive than a vasectomy. And if your smart and in a long term relationship you can track your partners ovulation and raw dog some of the time.

What I'm saying is, there are other options. Your also presuming that all the women you fuck will be ok with no condom. Women care about std's too so you might find yourself needing to wear a rubber anyway. That would be ironic.

I know I'll probably get a serve for this, bit I use HERE WeGo maps. I know it's proprietary, I know it still tracks data. But it's not Google, and I always use offline maps and navigation. I just can't get behind the ugly UI of OSM, Organic/CoMaps etc.

I'm on GrapheneOS so I can setup scopes for network access if it needs permissions — it works without network permission, I just enable it to update maps periodically. It also works with android auto.

Of course, if you're comfortable with OSM or CoMaps UI then that's the better choice. I'm just sharing my experience.

That's generally how it works.

If he cheated on his partner with you, you'd one day start to wonder if he's cheating on you. Best to respect the integrity and bide your time imo.

This is honestly insane. And it's such an American way of thinking. Y'all need help.

[–] pfr@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 1 week ago (3 children)

I had an argument with an American once over whether health care should be free or not. They're so brainwashed into thinking that they'll somehow be disadvantaged by a universal healthcare system even when they're paying out their ass for private health insurance, and at the same time blaming patrons of their restaurant who don't tip enough for their poor income while happily accepting minimum wage from their employer. It's absolutely mental.

Honestly, is why men in their 50's be pulling his 30 year old women. It often takes time for men to mature and gain confidence. Don't sweat it. It'll come.

Exactly. At the end of the day it is the human behind the computer that clicks send/post. Use AI all you want, just proof read the the stuff before publishing it. Some people don't have a great vocabulary, and in some respect using AI can help to grow their vocabulary. Just don't publish things you wouldn't normally say, especially things you don't fully understand.

I've used AI intermittently to draft emails when time poor. It's much faster to give ChatGPT a sloppy prompt with the gist of the message for it to then instantly spit out a full draft. The responsible thing to do then is to proof read it and make changes that make it more "you". I think that's fine.

I have always enjoyed good punctuation. And being a bit of a nerd myself, I used em dashes throughout University in my essays. To me it felt like a cool little keyboard shortcut that only few knew about. I still use them today—in emails and reports. I haven't yet been personally called out for using AI, but I have noticed a lot more people using them.

So what if people use AI to help them with their grammar and punctuation. At the end of the day, people are still sending messages they endorse—even if it's not one they could have articulated without some help from AI.

Laughs in Australian

So I've tried both, and they both work, but with different effects. The dex is the only thing that helps with executive function, that kick start to actually initiate tasks. But Ritalin is more effective in muting the mental noise which helps me stay focused longer. It also helps me regulate my emotions much better. I have young kids and life gets hectic, so ritalin helps be keep my cool in this moments. But I'm reluctant to give up the Dex (what I'm currently prescribed) because I need it most work days to get things moving.

I wonder if anyone has the same experience and whether they've managed to work with their prescriber to use both on lower doses?

Finally got confirmation of what I've always known. Feeling conflicted. Relieved and happy I now have validation. But feeling angry and grieving the life I could have had if I was diagnosed sooner. Still plenty of time to find my groove I suppose.

Hey everyone, I'm planning on setting up my first home server this year. Going to use an old Dell Optiplex with a couple 4tb SSD's.

I only need two services running. Jellyfin and immich. I've tested this out in a debian netinstall VM and it works.

Just looking for helpful hints or advice etc. I'm a long time Linux and BSD user and I'm tempted to try it out using Alpine Linux or even NetBSD (my daily driver os) but I thought I'd be sensible and go with Debian for.... Stability?

Anyway, immich is run in a container whereas jellyfin has a binary install. Apparently you can run jellyfin in a container also, not sure I really need to tho?

Thank you for any hints or advice.

So I'm kind of using 9front for the first time and I really like it. It's really quite a simple operating system. There has certainly been a learning curve coming from Linux and BSD, but I'm getting there. Just need to set up Mail, Faces and an IRC client next.

So far I've just edited the theme, set up a couple functions, customised my riostart, edited the winwatch source code to reduce the padding etc. Everything I've done is pretty much in the acme window.

I've connected to the 9p VPS through rcpu which I find much better than using draw term. Although I suppose I'll need to use draw term to complete challenge two, set up faces for neinbook.

I'm hoping to learn how to edit the main right click menu so I can add launch commands for acme and netsurf. I also would like to edit the new window command to enable -scroll in all new windows. Any tips are welcome and appreciated.

Title.

Basically, I've had an account on lemmy.ml for a while and now I've moved to lemmy.sdf.org and I can't seem to see my previous posts from my lemmy.ml account.

G'day ladies, gentlemen, and all gender non-conforming or non-binary individuals of the Fediverse.

Consider this an #introduction of sorts. I am an ex-Redditor but I'm not new to Lemmy, SDF or the Fediverse. I watched on Mastodon as hordes of people migrated from the imploding bird site and it was wonderful to see. Now watching Reddit push their users towards Lemmy, I'm excited for the future of the internet. A much needed web revolution is upon us.

If you haven't yet, check out mastodon.sdf.org, matrix.sdf.org and pixelfed.sdf.org for more SDF federated goodness. Tell Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and all other social media giants to get stuffed. Cheers
