Except websites can't just communicate directly with the OS like they can in webviews

Sites inside webviews can already communicate with the app running them, I don't see how this proposal in this form causes any additional problems

It definitely is for some people, but to punish those who genuinely need help because of the actions of a few well.. Actually that's pretty on brand for the tories

In my experience WINE programs can look quite bad without the Microsoft fonts

Amazon. I try to buy elsewhere most of the time but other sites just don't have the same stuff sometimes.

Ever since they had the xss problem they've basically nuked any html elements in any scenario

It does seem like the climate is shifting further towards hybrid rather than fully remote. To be honest, I do miss aspects of office working. It's definitely not for everyone and it restricts what opportunities are available to me but it does feel like a desire of mine now

If this is what it takes for you to realise the government doesn't care about you then fair enough I guess, but they haven't done anything egregious here
