One difference is machine size. A bed slinger needs enough room to sling the bed around. I have a Snapmaker Artisan and its humongous because of this.

arrest any judge that dares rule against the order, all the way up to the SCOTUS ... it seems the president has this authority now.

Just because the other side is doing this, this is not where we want to be as a country. The country would devolve into non-existence if both sides were acting as lawlessly as Republicans are now. What needs to happen is they need to face real consequences for breaking our democracy as much as they have been.

"Basket of Deplorables" -- as I'm tired of repeating, Hilary was right.

Let me guess, you didn't vote in 2024, and bitched about Democrats the entire time. How's the Trump regime working out for you kreskin?

[–] peregrin5@lemm.ee 1 points 4 months ago

You're a chump that thinks the Democrats are out to attack progressives. Maybe don't be an uneducated dork.

almost universally want authoritarianism and dictatorships? those are far right positions

These are both far right and far left positions. That's what I'm saying.

The left tends to want some flavour of socialist democracy.

Yes, the center-left wants this. The far-left wants revolutions and purity tests, burning down the system, and leaving minorities to die and fend for themselves while they wage their "class war".

What far right labels as far left

Why would you depend on the far right for any kind of accurate definition? Bernie is not far left in reality. He is center left.

In one notoriously hard class, my professor would post practice exams from previous years.

It turned out he also basically reused exam questions from previous years, so doing these practice exams basically landed me a perfect score in a class where the exam average usually hovered around 60%.

My peers, who refused to do the practice exams, even after I repeatedly told them of their existence and using them as my study method, accused me of cheating because I practiced using the practice exams the teacher posted with the explicit purpose of having us practice with them.

I think they were just mad I ruined the curve.

Idk, the number of 60-80 year olds on my gay fetish apps sliding into my DMs seem to contradict this "lack of boomer LBGTQ" idea.

Yes pro authoritarian far left that's basically communism.

I'd say it's the stages before communism. When the authoritarians have to take all the power to give it to the people. The problem is that is impossible. Once the authoritians have taken all the power, they never give it up. So real communism doesn't exist and can never exist because it always requires some type of revolution and central organization after the effects of the revolution. And that central power will never give up that power.

So just because they haven't reached "true" communism doesn't mean they are all of a sudden now on the "far-right".

Today's tankies are still considered far-left.

You can be both pro-authoritarian and far left. In fact, that's kind of the definition of far left.
