Actually many of the captchas work either way. If I see AI generated images in the captcha I deliberately click wrong. Since they're using us to train their AI, I gladly mess up their training data.

Das hab ich vor ~20 Jahren mit einer Freudin schon geplant. Wir hatten die SchülerVZ Passwörter voneinander und der Plan war im Todesfall von einem wird der andere weiterposten.
Schön, dass Meta jetzt auf dem Ideenniveau von ein paar Teenagern angekommen ist.
Und wir leben beide auch noch, mittlerweile auch ohne VZ oder FB.
I mean.. great and all that we are growing closer to Australia, free movement and trade are wonderful. But we really dont't need to ship stuff all around the globe for the sake of trading. We have beef in Europe and Australia can make our cheese if we send them the recipe.

It's a real dilemma, I recently read about trans people claiming asylum in Europe but being denied because the US are still considered a safe country. Which is not true for all of the US anymore.

German citizen, I was always able to vote in local and EU elections in Ireland. Fair, it did annoy me not to be able to vote in the general elections there, but I was able to request mail-in ballots for general elections in Germany online and got them in time.
I agree with the author that we should not have different rules and requirements across the EU. Voting requirements should be aligned across all member states. At the same time, we should not use bureaucratic hurdles as an excuse to not vote. If you move somehwere new, inform yourself and plan accordingly. This is important stuff.
