Would you mind elaborating on why go for an older pro vs newer -a model?

Hah, I randomdly picked this screen name, never seen paper moon either! Just looked it up, seems Interesting, added it to the queue.

Dark had a planned ending, it was 3 seasons and then done.

The Netflix TV show Dark. Holy hell. I missed SO much the first time. If you haven't seen this show do yourself a favor and watch it, the amount of detail is crazy, and the casting is top notch. Watch it in German with English subtitles though, the English dubbing is really, really horrendous.

I watched idiocracy at home a year or 2 after it came out, and I hated it because i felt like it beat you over the head with the message, like yeah I get it, I don't need to watch an hour more of this!

..then I rewatched it after our handling of covid and January 6 insurrection.. Thought to myself "yep... Thats how the future plays out.."

If you watched it now for the first time? In 2025? Fucking hell. I hate this timeline.

Well now I'm really curious what you were originally replying to, that could be affecting prices, haha

I'm really confused how these things are related?

Its really frustrating they haven't released the steam controller 2 modeled after the steamdeck, because it makes the steamdeck not as useful for docking situations. You get used to the 4 back paddle buttons and then dock it and try and use the steam controller and it's missing the extra 2 back buttons, and other analog stick, so your muscle impulses are thrown off when playing your favorite games.

If its anything like my experience, you might as well just buy a new phone now. I opted for the battery replacement for my pixel 4a, and the place I took it to (one of the only places working with google to do the replacement) was super slammed because of all the pixel 4a replacements, and I'm willing to bet they didn't properly glue the battery in place as a few weeks later I dropped it on my carpet from like 4 feet high. The screen didnt crack as I'm using a screen protector and a case, but the center of the screen had a line across it that wasn't cracked glass, it was the actual LCD display damaged, right where the battery should be in the phone. I'm guess the battery was just hanging out loose in the phone, and dropping it was enough to slam the battery into the screen and damage the LCD. From there it spread purple and black dead pixels across the screen over the following 24 hours until the entire LCD was dead.

After all that hassle, new phone required anyway.

Is this the same handy work of the 1 lone google developer that messed with the pixel 4a builds (and that were built on a personal dev machine instead of a proper build infrastructure) and sent out a shoddy battery update that required battery replacements?

I mean, I vaguely heard about that decades later, so doesn't that mean they got away with it?
