I claim that I have a five dollar bill in my pocket. I challenge you to prove me wrong.
We turn my pocket inside out. No five dollar bill is there. I lose the challenge.

So this brings up something that shocked me when it first happened to me a few years back. At work, during casual conversation, some guy brought up the topic of male human genitalia. Not sure how but it wasn’t in a humorous context.
In my response I used the word “penis”. He said he wasn’t sure you could use that word at work. And I was annoyed. It’s the medical word for the organ. Every other word for it is slang. And he brought up the topic. What backwards world is developing around me? Am I supposed to use some childish word like “hoo-hah?”
Then why is the only advertisements I’m seeing are some fit dude eating doughnuts and trying to convince me of not-sure-what on YouTube and trailers for the world’s most plain looking TV shows on Freevee.
“Imaginary” was merely poor word choice from long ago.
It feels weird to reply to myself but I keep thinking about Luke’s development. When I was about 7 or 8 years old, I saw this guy that was like a cool older brother go off and do exciting adventures but then some jackbooted thug killed his older buddy who lived down the road. Then in Empire , when I was about 10 or 11 years old, I saw him train hard but still get totally wrecked in the end. Then finally when I was about 13 years old, I saw him come into his own.
It really felt deeply satisfying after waiting like one third of my life to see this guy not get kicked around. I had forgotten how good that felt. And what a long wait.
Some dude a couple doors down was obsessed with Star Wars, and this was before Return. He rewatched Empire so many times. Even I didn’t like it that much. Imagine how he must have felt.
On average, insufficient education and critical thinking skills because of a quasi-oligarchy that favors lots of desperate people to keep unskilled labor costs down. These oligarchs are also in league with sociopath religious leaders who know that religious recruitment is higher when life is miserable. Because 80% of our leadership are effectively solipsists, little is done to improve anything long term because it doesn’t benefit them immediately or personally.
Based on the probabilities we can derive from examining history, the situation will have to deteriorate for a few more generations before a widespread radical event changes key aspects of civilization. We should all try to change things now in less destructive and less risky ways, but I fear it won’t work.
I watched it in the theater as a teenager on initial release, and the Ewoks made me cringe. But at the start, seeing Luke as a mature badass was satisfying and exciting.
Andor was so well done that it stressed me out. The cheesy schlock of Bobafet was just what I needed.
Thank you so much for this information.
If you still have commenting motivation, what are the top 5 differences between x86 and ARM?
Up until your post I had thought it exactly was the size of the instruction set with x86 having lots of very specific multi-step-in-a-single instruction as well as crufty instruction for backwards compatibility (like MPSADBW).
Kinda reminds me of Qui Gon reacting to new Disney series light saber injuries.
Others have explained what it is but the acronym is Military Occupational Specialty
Maybe he is expecting racial interactions to be more like what is in Shakiest Gun in the West?
