But the news article mischaracterizes it.

I feel the need to somehow combine these two images.

The myth of the silent majority sitting directly in the midpoint of whatever positions the GOP and DNC espouse at any given time is also part of the problem. People like my dad are convinced, polls and voting trends be damned, that the vast majority of voters are right of the Democrats and left of Republicans. Less woke than Dems, but less racist than Reps. Less white than Reps, but more white than Dems. etc etc.

The true majority is a collection of:

  • The uninformed ("non-political" voters)
  • The uneducated (stupid people)
  • The apathetic (ones who don't even vote)
  • People who don't understand the class war we've had for the past several thousand years

I only take caffeine for ADHD. I think it's important to make sure it's a set amount of milligrams. Don't be drinking 3 Monster energy drinks one day, and then 1 the next day, or you may find yourself unfocused, tired, whatever. Or if you start increasing your intake, you might establish some new normal, and that might be bad for side effects.

Do “normal” people really have 10 or more close friends? I’ve never had that many close friends my entire life.

Yea, I'm going to have to call monkeysphere theory on this one.

There’s an entire episode where he’s on record of “slashing the budget with a machete” but in that same episode sacrificing his job to save Leslie.

That pretty much captures the Republican ideal in a nutshell: Think that the world is simple and have no empathy for the other side, until it personally affects them and suddenly they are for gay rights, or trans rights, or unemployment, or Social Security, or whatever is being debated.

They might actually just care about the moral issues involved

They give zero shits about moral issues. Corporations have no morals. Banks have even less than no morals.

Which would just force the efforts underground, where there's NO curation or moderation. People passing out databases of LoRAs on torrent sites, IRC, or underground bulletin boards. Or they'll just host in a different county that isn't the US.

OP is editorializing the headline ("based on real people") to try to push some agenda here. The fact that 404 Media already has vendetta against sites like CivitAI is bad enough. No, a majority of the models are not porn, not based off of celebrities, and no animals were harmed in the making of this film. Sure, you can point to certain examples of celebrities type models, but most of them are just for concepts not a specific person, and celebrities like to put their pictures out there for anybody to train against. And I do mean anybody can train against these. The hardware requirements are not hard, and besides the Patreon-fueled efforts of certain contributers, it's just Joe Average people submitting their own LoRAs for concept training.

Let me ask you a simple question: Do you like the current situation with the exploitation of women coming from the real porn industry? Or would you prefer an outlet where there are no men or women (or children) exploited at all?

We searched far and wide for a voice actor, and came back with... a popular regular actor.

Could Rolling Stone have pulled out an older reference?

"Hey, let's start adding in Sock It To Me references, because I'm sure an even smaller portion of our audience will get it."

Ugh, this crossover shit is getting worse...

A bizarre Ed Wood film about transvestism, from the 1950s. It's filled with sexism and racism that comically confounds the message of equality.
