it also says all posts require a tag... however thanks for sharing about the sidebar because it led me to find foodporn and thats more what i'm into. Good to know this is the one for "food memes and shitposts" and such.

I totally agree with that. Many meals involve no cooking at all. Its just that I thought this forum was about cooking.

is heating a freezer corndog and dumping chips from a bag really cooking?

I picked up a Denon DNP-730AE network audio player on ebay and I run Tiny-DLNA on my server where the music files and playlists are stored.

Works great and sounds great.

I was considering applying to Canonical but I'm not so sure after reading this. I have a hard time taking a company seriously that requires psuedo scientific personality tests.

You can do this easily with Tailscale or a similar wiregaurd vpn.

Rice Bran oil is my fave with a smoke point of 232 °C (450 °F) and it holds up a long time. I also use it for deep frying. Its not well known in the west and its really great.

It is easier than you think.

I never said how easy I think it is so what are you basing this response on?

I wouldn't even think about charging anyone for anything until you get it all setup and dialed in with backups, etc and are sure you know how to keep the service running.

Yesterday the handle to the freezer door broke off in my hand as I was openning it.

I've had it for 10 years so it did laat a while.

I was able to find and order the part online from a local vendor and to my surprise it arrived this afternoon (ordered last night around 19:00).

I looked up the instructions and almost laughed at how simple it is. Installed in less than a minute.

Very satisfying!

A couple of knobs in my house got loose ober the years. As in the screws are partially stripped and can't be properly tightened anymore.

This morning I took the knobs off, stuffed wooden match sticks into the screw holes, and put the knobs back on.

All fixed and now tight as a drum. Very satisfying!

This is right before I hit it with the stick blender and made it smooth. Came out very tasty.

Had a friday hankering. Edit: I feel I should add this was for 4 people :)

I got the phone with the biggest screen I could find at a reasonable price, and turned up the size setting. Now I can use it without my reading glasses!

This plunger is very good for clearing out a clogged sink. Much better than any other plunger I've tried before.

I will cook it tomorrow. I got the tortillas with extra fiber.

I hadn't seen these before so I picked them up so I can "express powerful high-resolution sound."
