That's the first big problem with stuff like this.

The second big one is that artists have to first hear about this, then take the time to actually learn how to use this software, then apply it to all of their past & future artwork, and also somehow apply it to every version of their artwork that is floating around the internet, books, or photographs and not currently in their possession. And then in a few months they have to do that all over again.

It's insane. I look at this and think it's cool technology, but as an artist I will never use it. I'm too busy actually creating art to mess around with poisoning my own work. I don't even have time to do copyright takedowns on people stealing my art and passing it off as their own, or Chinese merchants on Amazon selling my art without permission. Stuff like this is well-meaning, but its absolutely unrealistic.

Germans were a victim of WW1.

What a way to start a history analogy.... 😬

I'm glad you did, and I'm not here to invalidate your opinion. I just thought it was atrocious.

Good. More uplifting news, please.

She's definitely not wrong, but the constant comparisons to Picard don't help. Making this about one of Star Trek's best series vs one of its absolute worst series is a weird choice.

I'm saving less because I can't afford to save anymore, and my bill payments are coming out of my savings.

Yay, economy!

I haven't seen such a flamebait troll post since leaving reddit...

Real Putin energy here.

I’m not going to say what those targets are allowed to be or what tools or methods they’re allowed to employ.

And I think that's a shame.

Slaughtering, raping, and torturing civilians and foreign nationals who are in no way involved in the decision making process is not acceptable. Hard stop.

It's shameful that you won't say that too.

You aren’t there or in their situation. You should keep your mouth shut

You realize that applies to you equally, right? I hope you do. Because this is the dishonesty I'm talking about.

In actually, I have as much right as you to comment on this situation, especially since this is an internet forum where the whole point is discussion. So "keep your mouth shut" is just about the most useless comment ever, and should be heeded by those who think to say it.

So, yes. I am well within my rights to say that murdering hundreds of civilians at a music festival, and raping, beating, and parading naked a foreign national are not the right way to go about protesting oppression by the Israeli government. Just as you are well within your rights to argue that those are acceptable things to do. It's an awful thing for you to defend, but you're allowed to express that opinion.

Yes. All of that is correct. And still there are many choices besides “nothing” and “murder innocent people.”
