Are there any good reading guides online to accompany it? I remember reading books like this in university and the professor would help us with critical reading. I bet there's something out there like that. 🤔

Currently Privacy Badger will de-mangle Google-mangled links in their search results. I wasn't using it until I saw this so I installed it despite using uBlock Origin.
They removed this support, because it was misleading users who thought they were getting E2EE when using it as an SMS client.

But they do sync. They just don't keep messaging history, which is, as you say, by design. Signal doesn't keep copies of your messages so they cannot give you old message history if you connect your account to a new device.
I have two questions:

- What do your friends with kids say about why they have a kid?
Every time I went to sign up for their site they required that I list my Twitter account. But, I've never had consistent interconnected social media profiles.

There's a bot that goes through and identifies link rot so editors have a backlog queue of them to go through.
Tbh I don't think that's a list. I think that's just their website's graphic banner thing and they slapped it on.
Giving them payment information makes it even easier to track you too.
