What evidence are you basing that assertion on?

Socialism is NOT whatever the hell this "sovereign citizen" stuff is.

Socialism is instead a democratization of the benefits of our collective labor.

Rather than permit the kings and nobles, billionaires, athletes, movie stars, politicians, and pop idols to take the lion's share - we use it to invest in our society, our collective well being.

You work? I do too. And so do the clerks at the gas stations and grocery stores - the brick layers and the office workers - we're all just working a job for a living.

For the ones that can't or don't want to work - Setting aside the murky definition of "work" - I'd rather they be fed, clothes, housed and warm, because it means safer lives for everyone.

It doesn't matter.

Even if the third party candidate was literally the best candidate possible in the eyes of every American - they still wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell at getting elected under a first past the post system.

We must enact and enforce a ranked choice voting system nationally, otherwise it will always come back to red vs blue, and a third party vote is electoral masturbation.

Pro tip - egg wash first, THEN cut slits.

Education is anywhere from free to really cheap in Germany, and we still don't get many people from poorer families into uni.

I am not German myself, but I am familiar with the system. Please correct me if things have evolved, but...

I thought the post-elementary education system in Germany was a tiered system. University admission requires completing the Abitur exams, but one can only feasibly do this if they've attended Gymnasium, or the "highest" tier of high school. It may be possible to do if one gets very high marks in Realschule (mid tier), along with Abitur preparation courses, but it's virtually impossible if one attends Hauptschule (lowest tier). These schools are not intended to provide university preparation, but instead provide a general education to prepare students for trades/vocational careers.

Whether a child attends Hauptschule, Realschule, or Gymnasium is decided at 9 or 10 years old, and is dependent on performance in elementary classes and teacher recommendations.

And when one considers that a child's educational performance is directly related to both familial socioeconomic status and parental educational attainment, it's not surprising that poorer people are less likely to attend or complete university.

Capitalists' dominant position within the class hierarchy necessitates exploitation of the working class, and this is maintained by fomenting division. This tiered system is just one manifestation of how society can be stratefied and divided.

Did you not see the video of the guy wearing his new tim apple ski goggles, in his semi-self driving Tesla cyber truck?

What makes you think people can behave?

I'm not really sure what point you're making, but really do appreciate the documentary shared.

I look at this in the same way that I deal with dementia patients. Oh wow, that's very interesting, hey I think "price is right" is on TV, let's get you to the couch, and I'll go get your lunch.

Why are we letting illogical opinion carry the same weight as tenured legal expertise and documented objective evidence?

Why should I care that the MAGAt gravy seal wing of y'all qaida get drone striked into oblivion?

They're anti-american traitors, draping themselves in the American flag.

Unless they're evil radical leftist Democrats, those Marxist-Leninist Antifa communist fascist socialists. Then they'll be hanged.

MAGAts get a wrist slap.

I'd be afraid of a world where brides were illegal.

(Just a joke mate, reread the end of your comment - you clearly meant bribes, but wrote brides.)

I'm not sure that person meant that the obese should be made to pay more in automobile taxes specifically, but rather in health insurance premiums, or some other kind of ~~fat~~ excise tax.

I'm of the opinion that, assuming that a licensed medical provider has performed an appropriate evaluation that excludes the diagnosis of an underlying metabolic disorder that specifically causes one to be obese, there should be remuneration made to the health system for the consequences rendered by their behavioral decisions.

Theres already precedent for this with tobacco use.

I mean, having some water nymph toss a sword at someones feet is at least as good of a justification for governmental power - and if I'm honest, a better one at that.

It's like 40% more creative than "I have all the money and the big boogey man in the sky said I have the right to reign supreme - who are you to question God?"
