I have an ultrawide, and when games don't support it, they just give me a 16:9 in the center of the screen with black bars on each side.

Hades has a cool unsupported ultra wide logic where they give stylized bars on each side and 16:9 in the middle

I think memory speeds could be the bottleneck in this case. So as others have said, an upgrade of motherboard generation, and higher RAM speeds and CPU speeds would be good.
