I don't like when they do it. More generally I don't like their chemistry.

My feeling about it is that the Valar didn't participate, I think we would have been told if they had. There were probably quite a few Maiar with Eönwë as you say to deal with the balrogs and Morgoth himself, but to my understanding he was already significantly weakened at this stage because of the marring of Arda (even Fingolfin did quite well in one on one combat, so I think a few strong Maiar could have done the job).

I always sing this when I'm snacking on cheese at night.

To my knowledge it's not supposed to differ.

If you trust that the client (which is open source) is doing what it's supposed to do, security-wise I don't think there's a difference between self-hosting and using Bitwarden's service.

No, you don't need to trust the VPS provider. The VaultaWarden password storage is encrypted, and the master password is never transmitted to the server. The passwords are decrypted only locally on your device.

Esterházy-torta, looks great!

My family of three finished this cake in less than four days

I could finish it by myself in less than one day.

What if you're married to a women's shoe salesman?

I read it in my head in his voice.

For files I just use WebDAV that's built in to Apache. It's really not fancy, but does all I need.

This might be a good compromise: https://www.fairvote.ca/rural-urban-proportional/

Here in downtown Toronto, ridings are tiny (in terms of area) and the borders are pretty arbitrary, with people on the same street sometimes represented by different MPs and MPPs. It's honestly a bit ridiculous, myself and two friends who live within a couple of minutes walk have two MPPs and three MPs! (Federal and provincial borders are different this year) I'd really be much happier if the whole city becomes one multi-member riding. With Rural-Urban Proportional, rural areas keep local representation kinda like now (FPTP) but get the benefits of proportionality from the regional top-up. I think it's a reasonable, if not perfect.

It's a pretty interesting video actually.
