President Joe Biden is reportedly seeking to revive a project that would construct a high-speed railway from Houston to Dallas in Texas utilizing Japanese bullet trains.

According to a Reuters report on Tuesday, citing unnamed administration sources, the White House is looking to make an announcement on the project following talks between Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Washington, D.C., this week.

The Japanese government and the White House declined to comment on the report, though the project has seen renewed support from Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who told KXAS in Fort Worth on Sunday: "We believe in this."

Matt Stone and Trey Parker are combining forces with rapper Kendrick Lamar for a live-action comedy feature from Paramount Pictures.

During its presentation Thursday at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the studio announced that an original comedy from South Park creators Stone and Parker is set to begin shooting this summer and will hit theaters on the Fourth of July in 2025. Lamar and Dave Free serve as producers through their company PGLang, while Stone and Parker produce for Park County.

“I’m excited to announce that we’re going into production this summer on a [comedy] from the creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker,” Paramount film chief Brian Robbins told the crowd about the movie that is currently untitled. “This script is one of the funniest and most original scripts we’ve ever read, and it’s certain to create some fireworks when it hits theaters on July 4th, 2025.”

Directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4), the first animated theatrical Transformers film since that 1986 masterpiece is coming September 13 and, at CinemaCon, Paramount revealed footage for the first time ever.

The film is entirely set on Cybertron and tells the story of how the two most famous Transformers, Optimus Prime and Megatron, went from best friends to mortal enemies. Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry provide the voices of Prime and Megatron, only they’re not called that at the start. They’re called Orion Pax and D-16, respectively. Filling out the cast are Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key as B-127 (who’ll become Bumblebee), as well as Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.
