Today Netflix announced a new adult animated comedy series, Strip Law from Cullen Crawford (Star Trek: Lower Decks, Farzar, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), Underground and Titmouse Inc. The 10-episode series set in Las Vegas will be released on Netflix on February 20, 2026.

The project’s voice cast is led by Adam Scott (Severance), Janelle James (Abbott Elementary), Stephen Root (Barry, King of the Hill), Shannon Gisela (M.I.A., Chasers) and Keith David (Greenleaf, Krapopolis).

Logline: Uptight lawyer Lincoln Gumb is too boring to win cases in Vegas until he teams up with local magician/hedonist Sheila Flambé to bring some flash and pizzazz to the stupidest cases the city can throw at them.

By making Big Tech the hero in a movie about government surveillance, the dismally rated remake feels more like an ad for Amazon than anything else.

A24 releases director Josh Safdie‘s feature in theaters Dec. 25. Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’Zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma (aka Tyler, the Creator), Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher round out the cast.

The cable network has declared Aug. 13 “South Park Day” and is running a marathon of fan-favorite episodes starting at 9 a.m. ET.

The programming will also feature interviews with creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, behind-the-scenes footage and rare clips. The event marks the anniversary of the show’s first episode in 1997.
