Ah! Exactly! When I DM, I take players requests as a challenge, and that makes it more fun for me. For this case I was a guest so I played it safe 😁

Just give it to your warrior. I played a game where I wanted just ice spells for RP reasons, but most of the ice spells suck, so I just reskinned the fire ones as ice, and left the damage as "cold" fire (affected by fire resistance) so as not to affect the game balance.

Ice bolt, ice ball, ray of ice, etc.

Still requires the compiler though.

I don't have a good answer, but I've embedded python in bash scripts before after having the bash script install python. Take that as you will.

I got to use "There be whales here!" in the context of being on a whale watching tour, and only getting to see one as we were heading back, having given up seeing any.

It might be my life's greatest achievement.

I'm in this meme and am painfully aware of it.

I feel like Jadzia would be "Listen to the worm, take your meds".

This is why you use TCP: Trusted Concurrent Pigeons.

Trusted Pigeons so that a simple hash check can prove the veracity of your data AND provide a free dedupe / data integrity check for when multiple/single packets arrive.

Concurrent Pigeons so that transmission issues don't impact latency (throughput is essentially unlimited here, assuming sufficient pigeons)

Downsides include needing to implement a pigeon cache and power (birdfood) requirement increases.

These memes are on fire, and that's a problem because Nestlé got to the firehose first.

Fuck it, I like your energy. Recognize that time in your day that's most valuable and fight to keep it yours ✊

Nuclear should be the only non renewable power we use at scale. Oil makes sense for emergency situations (it's portable and is stable forever) and where energy density is most important (like aircraft, for now). Coal can fuck right off.

Upper management would have to value employees for this to make sense.
