We should still get our facts straight and not rely on hyperbole, which just opens us up to being corrected and looking like idiots who don't bother to verify what they spout.

If it really is as bad as you say, then we shouldn't need to embellish it. Stick to the facts and let people form their own opinions.

spoilerIt's sad this needs to be spelled out for so many of you, but it just goes to show how few of you paid attention in social studies or had extremely poor teachers.

Thanks for this sanity check.

I looked at the source and noticed, well, it wasn't anything reputable that I recognized like AP. That usually means they have very little journalistic integrity and have no problem sensationalizing headlines to get clicks.

I would recommend staying away from apple if control over your device is something you value.

It's very strange that you are considering moving to a dumbphone or an even more locked-down platform because google is locking down android.

They're taking away a vital feature, so you want even more taken away?

You need to brush up on your reading comprehension, then.

Yes it does. He mentioned he "should not have to choose fascist asshole or shifty semi fascist," and I responded with how people are already trying to make us fall in line and accept the semi-fascist.

You should brush up on your reading comprehension!

You can probably get accepted into a remedial English course at your local community college.

The only person I know who says skibidi is 30.

The problem is twitch and influencer-culture, not necessarily young users.

I'd wager a benefit of having young people on the internet is that they at least have the potential to provide value because their brain hasn't been rotted to the core like most adults.

It's shocking how quickly the free world is backsliding into fascism.

I genuinely think this has to do with the next generation of idiots taking their place. My generation has been conditioned to roll over like punk-bitches in the face of conflict so they're easier to exploit.

It's literally seen as embarrassing to stand up for yourself.

A rating system like the ESRB would actually be a really good idea for helping parents control what their kids get to see.

It shouldn't result in any sort of ban or restriction beyond what the parents are able to enforce. The big-name services will have a rating, and it's up to parents whether or not they'll let their kids use unrated services.

Oh, interesting.

That sounds like a much higher number than I thought. Do you know where you came across it?

Turns out it was true, so hopefully you can learn something here.

I doubt it, though. You seem pretty average to me.

Beautiful, thanks.

Pretty crazy how much control they're able to exert over information.

Felt like they were on the rage as I was finishing high school, but now they're nowhere to be seen.

I'd wager most of you haven't even heard the term 'straight-edge' in months, or possibly years.

I think this is emblematic of the game development atmosphere as a whole. The PS5 'must-plays' are mostly rereleases and multiplats.

I'm hoping Sony studios have a lot of good things cooking behind the scenes, they're just taking their time.

I just saw the first movie with a friend and the thought went through my mind. I'm not really sure what something being derivative means, so I looked it up and apparently it's more subjective than I realized.

What are your thoughts?

Looking at Amazon, Aliexpress, even Walmart, there's a lot of products that aren't what they claim, such as lying about the capacity of batteries. Customers have to figure these things out for themselves and 'metagame' the system.

I don't think this should be allowed, but what are your thoughts?
