Just use monospace fonts for everything. As a bonus you can feel like a haxxor

Because it's microsoft.

Linux is great, I switched all my personal machines because I was fed up with all the crap they do.

And what can I say? It's just a better OS. The only reason to still use windows is because of software that's made for it and doesn't run well on linux yet.

The SOC exposes most things to the OS afaik so that's the most important part that needs to match. To make a custom ROM, you'd need some code from qualcomm for the SOC. They only maintain that for a very short time, which is the main reason why android phones in the past have been so terrible in terms of updates, only getting 2-3 of support. Making a ROM without that stuff is so much work that not even phone manufacturers do it.

The G5S has a Snapdragon 430 which is ancient at this point, so you probably won't get any recent version of android running on there. You shouldn't run an old version either as those are insecure.

That said, maybe GSIs are an option. Those are basically ROMs that work on multiple devices and a few years ago, google made it a requirement for phones to be able to boot a GSI in order to get certified to be shipped with google apps. Not entirely sure about when that started, so the G5S might be to old.

I googled a bit and didn't find anything concrete for that device, but GSIs are generic so you could have luck installing one for the snapdragon 430. During the early days of LOS GSIs, there were a lot of problems with wifi and cellular so you'll have to try a few builds before you find one that works.

GSIs always need to be clean flashed, so wipe all partitions except vendor before you flash the ROM.

Sounds like microsoft changed the danish layout.

The behaviour you want is called "dead keys" and the layout knows which keys should work like that.

If you want the old behaviour back, you need to do the following: Download MSKLC (Microsoft keyboard layout creator) from microsoft's website, install and open it and then go to File->Load existing layout and then select the danish one.

Then double click the accent key to open the popup, which includes a checkbox to make it a dead key.

Then compile and install the layout. I don't remember where exactly that button is but you'll find it. If it doesn't work first try, make sure that you change the name of the layout on the second try. Windows is a buggy mess and if you reuse names, it will break sooner or later and you'll find yourself with layouts that cannot be removed anymore.

You can also set a few other things in the layout like shiftlock, but as I said windows is a buggy mess so doing that will almost certainly break something.

Factorio space exploration, currently rushing to design and build walls while shooting biters because for some reason disabling biter expansion only affects the starting planet and my evolution factor is getting so high that half of the biters are behemoths and my outposts are being overrun.

You're storing unencrypted data on google drive with those backups, so they scan all of your chats. Whether they just look for malware/CSAM or people manually look through your chats is something you'll never know.

ich_iel is the worst place to learn german, the running gag is to translate stuff from english literally while actively ignoring the context.

Both full size, right?

Control is 10$ in a steam sale, so you'll probably get it for a similar price. It switches between an incredible atmosphere and chaotic combat, definitely worth playing imo.

Yes, I even ran every character through unicode search to make sure that none of them are different characters than what I thought. All of them were ASCII.

Meanwhile microsoft's exchange online can't even prevent attackers from spoofing microsoft.com as the sender. I nearly got caught by a fake quarantine notification once. The thing that made me suspicious was that the fake login page only took a second to load. The real one is never that fast.

The entire quarantine BS is trying to reinvent the wheel of the spam folder and causes a shitload of headaches for our internal IT.
