$900k is like pissing in the wind, what are they going to accomplish with that?

It’s only fiction until it’s not. But fantasy? Dude needs to learn the difference between sci fi and fantasy. Everybody has to lump those together like they’re the same thing.

Honestly I just moved back to local accounts. I’m interested in the other comments on this post for a good solution to move to.

Does that work with gitea? I was able to get it working with Authentik but wasn’t able to get it working on Keycloak.

  • Authentik is pretty resource intensive. Needs something like 3 servers/instances. A database, a server and a worker. Uses something like 800+ MB ram just for this service. Since I run my services on raspberry Pi 3s, I ended up moving away from this
  • Keycloak works great but is a bit difficult to set up and doesn’t support all the authentication protocols that Authentik does

He brings up good points albeit not relevant to the discussion. One thing that really irks me about Pixel phones is lack of external display support. I really want a smartphone that can replace my laptop. Samsung Dex shows promise by why aren’t the main OS developers doing anything there?

Hopefully it reclassifies weekly work hour threshold to be considered for full time benefits. Either way it’s going to be a bumpy ride. At least someone is trying something

Given OP’s additional context of the listing, I have to agree. Not sure the downvotes were called for by my not immediately jumping to conclusions about the intent. This place definitely has similarities to the other place, maybe it’s just human nature to jump on differing opinions.
