Puppy Linux is made for old machines and generally just works. You can boot it up on a live USB and see what you think. Lots of flavours to choose from.

Can you please elaborate on each step. I'm not sure on the hash and base52 - do you use a program you're written to do that for you? A simple example would be fantastic.

It's already too late. It makes me wonder whether collectively humans have free will.
It's a personal philosophy. There are pros and cons to having kids. I can understand why more people are leaning this way given that it is difficult to believe that things will improve in the future. I don't think it's a stupid philosophy but I don't specifically identify with it.
Fantastic show. Season 2 keeps up the quality.
