Check out InnerTune on f-droid. You'll find it's even better than Newpipe for music.

Absolute rubbish. People believing that their vote will bring change ensures climate disaster. The system is rigged and if you agree to participate in the system you are part of the problem. Thinking voting can have any meaningful impact highlights that you are unaware of how serious the situation is.

A few months ago someone (journalist?) claimed authorities cracked his 30+ char strong Veracrypt (or TrueCrypt?) passphrase. His computer was turned off when apprehended. I can not locate the story. in c/privacyguides@lemmy.one

I remember this also as I was contemplating my encryption options at the time. Pretty certain the individual was French. But for the life of me I can't find anything anywhere. Makes me wonder.
