Are you aware that the term master race is borrowed from Nazi ideology?
nodiet
And even if that were true, you would still benefit from a higher framerate because a) in games, you get lower input latency, and b) modern displays have an aweful lot of persistence blur which causes things in motion to appear less sharp. This effect is smaller the higher your framerate is.
I had never played a Zelda game (or even any nintendo game except wii sports and mario kart wii) 3 years ago. Decided to try ocarina of time 3d on an emulator and got hooked. I still need to play majora's mask and skyward sword of the 3D games and I have a few 2d Zeldas left but overall it has been a great experience and awesome journey, and I have also branched out and played all metroid and 3d Mario games and consider myself a Nintendo fan now.
Edit: this post has actually inspired me to boot up a link to the past and give it another chance and I realised part of why I didn't get into it originally was the input lag that can rather easily be mitigated in retroarch. Having a great time

I used to use slide when it was the only way to get your own personalised front-page without logging into a reddit account. But infinity does that too, now, and has a much better UI imo
I was actually pleasantly surprised when some subreddits announced their participation in the blackout with a picture including the infinity for reddit (and boost) icon(s).
I don't think it's impossible to convert them to epub, iirc epub is actually Turing complete. But it doesn't make much sense to convert your carefully typeset/layed out PDF to a format whose entire point is that the typesetting and layout is dynamic and taken care of by your device.
I think two out of those believes stem from survivorship bias. You think of old music and consumer products as superior because the only ones that "survived" are the good ones. No one remembers bad music from 50 years ago, and for every old thermos flask/blender/knife that you see around there are dozens that broke years ago.
In theory AI might be able to analyse the project files and figure out what kind of compiler and configuration are needed, which could then be executed automatically. Is this what you're describing, some kind of AI powered user friendly interface that lets you compile the project on your own machine? Because what you wrote sounds like you want the AI to actually just read the source code and produce machine code from it. Also, if you use e.g. archlinux, there is an entire user repository which consists of build scripts for software which often let you compile the package with a simple command. This seems similar to what you are describing in regards to flatpak. However, since these scripts are typically written by a third party, that adds another level of distrust.
Wow I was going to comment that lemmur is another android app for Lemmy but then I realised it was shut down in February. Does anyone know what the "political differences" are that are cited as one of the reasons for the discontinuation?
Red dead redemption is pretty performant on Xenia these days, much better than rpcs3.
Yes, and I dislike the term for the reason I mentioned
