Para-dig-em checking in. The bulb that lit up when I connected the sound with the word was pretty bright, but made me feel awfully dim. It changed my whole paradigm.

This sounds like you want federation to replace openID.

I agree, and since the torque curves are so different between high revving bikes and low revving EV motors, using real clutches will result in tons more maintenance on EVs.

Better mapping and “single pedal” style controls are gonna feel different, but ultimately can give riders more control and probably an advantage in those trials and gymkhana runs too.

Monotonic top layer setting is there exactly to mitigate this problem. The reason it isn’t default is because it requires more travel time so takes a little longer in some models.

It’s not a software bug, but a problem with the way speed/time-optimized paths fit on some models.

Since they were only given 1/3 of the budget, they should announce that they’ll only be removing lead from low income districts (which the Republicans have red-lined into being largely black neighborhoods). See if fomo changes their minds.

Extreme compression relief, makes starting it easier.

Did the cylinder really seize and get pushed away from the block? That must be exciting to hear/see.

To be fair a lot of these homes have been there for 50-100 years (some way older). Salisbury (and parts of Hampton just north) is relatively poor compared to much of the New England sea coast, but those look like pretty expensive homes. Just a road or 2 over is a lot lower income. lots of fishermen lived there traditionally. That part of the Atlantic coast was settled and built before the idea of public land was really well defined unlike parts of California and the west coast.

Because he probably looks like a reanimated corpse without all that makeup.

Yeah, having them repaired is going to be a nightmare.

Deloreans had a similar problem. Dents and scratches couldn’t be repaired with traditional bodywork techniques. They had a special Brillo/scotchbrite pad that would put the texture back into metal if you buffed it too hard.

That’s how we got Chernobyl, and part of why Fukushima melted (because the backup generation was under the tsunami).

It got slightly melted along the leading edge once, so I trimmed/files it back to make it chamfered again.

I’m sure it sheds some microplastics, like pretty much everything, but I prefer a little of the spatula, to scraping the nonstick ceramics.

We really only use this with a couple pans, and use metal in our cast iron, though one of our favorite metal spatulas has a plastic handle that’s been melted dozens of times from resting on the rim of the pan.
