There was close encounters. No Brazil. And children of men was criminally underrated.
My son goes to a Lego group once a week, and until this month it’s been a great group of helpful, quiet tinkerers.
Then a mom with kids in a local private school showed up, and now the organizer has had to break up a fight, and basically let them know they won’t be welcome if they keep touching other kids (2 of the 4 kids are too young as well).
You don’t need insurance in my state, for a while you could drive newly acquired cars without plates in CA, but I think they recently closed that loophole.

Fresh Air, This American Life, Car Talk, Something Wild are all largely non-political, but many cover liberal topics, but not from a political standpoint.
They also tend to cover factual stories about science and the environment, which— unfortunately for the right—tends to involve topics that the right wing have made political.

Didn’t it just happen earlier in Asia too? This feels like a humanity problem that we could probably overcome if we had less sociopaths amongst us.
