It’s probably more expensive, but I think Switzerland is a better choice for that.

Plus there are lots of other countries in that area with historical ancient art and monuments.

The Taliban fucking blew all that stuff up so they could pray in huts with dirt floors.

Now that they’re stuck in cubicles, suddenly they want free tourist money?

Or with all holes tightly sealed.

Unless they have a dictator-president and ineffective congress.

It feels a lot like they’re getting for that possible outcome—so they have a sympathetic king when the time comes.

I don’t know if you’ve already tried this, but I’ve had weird behavior with older Pi3s when the power supplies weren’t up to snuff.

A good 5V/10A (yeah I know they only need 5A) sorted out one of mine that had a heavy load of Neopixels running on it, even though the neopixels had their own 5V supply.

I haven’t needed to get a Pi5 for any of my projects and really use them as big arduinos in certain uses (better for camera detection and remote reprogramming).

Or way more obnoxiously loud. I’m pretty sure a large portion on Harley buyers at both deaf, and want everyone around them to hear how deaf they are.

Hardware store buckets with rubber seal lids have worked great for me for the last 6 years or so. They fit 5x1kg rolls perfectly and there’s room for silica packets down the middle and sides.

Yeah it’s a $20,000 toy.

Yeah there’s a reason used Toyota trucks are so goddamn expensive.

The frame rust was an issue, but Toyota replaced frames for way longer than any Ford warranty would cover.

Trading orphans for food would be a nice fallback, if I ever get sick of my kid, and a bit peckish at the same time.

Yup, and most electronics worldwide are still based on 0.1 inch increments.

I’m a designer and had to learn points and pico in art school. Those are inch based too (and totally useless in digital layouts). Metric is so easy that we all get it and use it when it makes sense. Largely with 3D printing and automotive fasteners (yeah even most of the “American” cars).

The real problem is the US and UK dominated manufacturing, and electronics in the early days and both used imperial units (though not always the same units). And because of that old used machine tools are all inch standard and how we learn and do hobbies. That and metric hardware is way more expensive in the states. I can get 1/3 of the fasteners in metric for the same money.
