I worked in my college library, so no we didn’t use the Dewey decimal system.

There were “shadow bands” that looked like wavy ripples starting around then too, and for a few seconds afterward too.

But OP’s point about non-totally is pretty accurate. It’s a little chilly, a bit like overcast, and you can’t look at it without eye protection until totality.

When we were at the 2017 eclipse it was warmer and we watch the bugs come out and birds roost/land on the nearby lake.

The orange trees are dying from fungus anyway. Monoculture and climate change were gonna kill OJ at some point anyway. That’s why it’s coming in smaller plastic bottles for higher prices already. Right? It’s not just naked profiteering, right?

It says it’ll do faster when “unlocked” in off road mode. Since 20mph is the limit for bike lanes it makes sense why they did it.

Yup moved to moose country later on and are super tall. I skidded to a stop in front of one on a dark night and it was facing away and just looked like a tall person standing in the road.

It looked back at us, then climbed straight up a quite steep embankment into the woods.

The dangers in hitting them is that you knock the legs out from under them and they land on your roof and crush you.

In in the UP, first time hunters often don’t know the difference between caribou and deer.

The supply shops find out when the hunters come back asking for help because the buck they bagged is too heavy to move. (They’re 500 lbs or more instead of the 100-200 lbs of a white tail)

When something is fresh, and facts come out, and those involved can be questioned and provide answers, that’s usually the best time to get the truth.

It’s also when the justice department can “visit” with convicted and imprisoned witnesses and convince her to lie for her freedom.

Roberto head in the middle. Hope he’s not feeling stabby on the inflatable boat!

Yup we used to call them mopeds. Nobody pedaled them either except to start them. This is an electric moped. They should nut up and call it that.

Must be in therapy for self esteem problems.

That’s all hand painted, no vinyl wraps here!

Still not sure why it was right hand drive though.

Side rear view in comments.

“Testarossa” vent sticker detail in comments.

Never liked the 3 spoke wheels at the time, but kinda fun to see nowadays.

Had the perfect vanity plate too!

I’ll post a couple more pics in comments.

It’s a 1991 VW Multivan so it came with a poptop, and a cabinet in the back (so it has a weird L shaped downstairs bed), but no kitchen, just seating for 8 with two backwards facing jump seats.

It is very much 1980s technology (especially the convoluted ignition and injection system that still managed to act like a carburetor on cold starts). Everyone who approaches it at gas stations and parking lots always asks what year it is, then they look confused when it starts with a 9.

Both tapping to read and tapping the check box in the messages view fails to make unread messages as read.

Also unable to post, my instance signed in properly and I can post from Voyager with the same login just fine.
